Privacy Policy
Grocello is an offline grocery list app. It was built to work entirely on your device — there is no account to create, no server it talks to, and no data it sends anywhere. This page explains exactly what that means in practice.
Grocello does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on remote servers. We do not require sign-up, login, email addresses, or any personal identifiers to use the app.
All grocery lists and items you create are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (Hive). This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly choose to share a list using your device's native share feature (for example, sending a list via Messages, WhatsApp, or email). Uninstalling the app permanently removes this data.
Grocello does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics trackers, or third-party data collection services. The only external interaction the app performs is invoking your device's built-in share sheet when you tap "Share List" — this is handled entirely by your operating system, not by us.
Grocello requests no unnecessary device permissions. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photos.
Grocello does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, because the app does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this privacy policy is ever updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
